'TIS THE SEASON - TO EAT!!

Even though Thanksgiving has come and gone, I want to share a recipe that has been in my family for generations. We have it every holiday - so Christmas is not too late! We enjoy it other times of the year, as well.

This recipe is for good old fashioned Southern Corn Pudding. My family is from Mississippi and this recipe is from the deep south. It is actually named for the cook that was my grandparent's cook for years and years. To me, she was just part of the family! There is probably no other recipe for corn pudding like it so even if you have tried other recipes for corn pudding, don't miss out on this one! I have never had anyone who has tried it not absolutely love it!

Annie's Corn Pudding

1/2 stick butter
2 Eggs
1 can Creamed corn
3 Tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon baking power
1/2 cup Milk

Melt butter in baking dish.

Beat eggs. Add cream corn, sugar, baking powder, and milk. Mix real good. Add melted butter. Mix good again.

Pour back into baking dish. Cook about 375 degrees for 30-40 minutes.

6 servings

Enjoy!

** I have tried cooking this in the microwave for about 10 minutes and it works great.
